The HK MP7 is an automatic weapon designed for the 4.6x30mm cartridge, which fits into 20, 30 or 40-round box magazines. The bullet mass is 1.6g. The bullet is solid-steel and jacketed in copper. The MP7 is configured into compact submachine gun, with pistol grip and magazine housing, telescoping buttstock and folding assault rifle grip at the front. In spite of its seemingly insignificant dimensions, this weapon proved highly effective, piercing all NATO armor. It outperforms many other submachine guns of similar dimensions in terms of accuracy. The pistol grip and buttstock are retracted and the HK MP7A1 can be carried in a pistol type holster. The pistol grip also can be folded forward, for better accuracy and accuracy, and the folded buttstock can be folded down for increased accuracy.
